pottery and jewellery classes, Taupō

Small classes, real skills, one bench

I started teaching out of the garage eight years ago and moved into the old joinery on Tuwharetoa Street not long after. Most weeks it is still just me, a kiln, a set of silversmithing tools and whoever has booked in.

About the studio

The building used to be a joinery workshop and still has the old sliding door we prop open in summer. There is one wheel, one kiln out the back, and a silversmithing bench by the window that gets the afternoon light off the lake.
